Transportation
Transportation is the act of moving something from one location to another.
In 3500 BC, fixed wheels on carts are invented, the first wheeled vehicles in history. Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot invented steam / built the first self propelled road vehicle (military tractor) for the French army: three wheeled.Humans' first means of transport were walking and swimming. The domestication of animals introduces a new way to lay the burden of transport on more powerful creatures, allowing heavier loads to be hauled, or humans to ride the animals for higher speed and duration. The first forms of road transport were horses, oxen or even humans carrying goods over dirt tracks that often followed game trails.
The vast majority of passenger travel occurs by automobile for shorter distances, and airplane for longer distances. As of 2003, there were 759 automobiles per 1,000 Americans, compared to 472 per 1,000 inhabitants of the European Union the following year. The US intercity passenger rail system is limited in scope. Bicycle usage is minimal. In the late 18th century overland transportation was by horse, while water and river transportation was primarily by sailing vessel. In 2000 BC horses are domesticated and used for transportation.
Transport plays an important part in economic growth and globalization, but most types cause air pollution and use large amounts of land.
Some people doesn't have the money to buy cars or go on trip they just stay inside their homes and clean. But to have a family time parents just take their kids to the park, walking all the way.
